The Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition is comprised of community members and advocates working together through a comprehensive coordinated approach for planning accountability and serves as resource agencies addressing overall health well-being while leveraging resources initiatives. The purpose of the Coalition is to improve community well-being by engaging and leading the community to work collectively in its development of strategic priorities that guide policy, programs and resource allocation.
Resilient Coastal Georgia consists of individuals and organizations in Chatham County and the surrounding coastal region, working closely with Resilient Georgia, to build trauma resilient communities that can prevent and heal childhood adversity.
Areas of focus include:
>A school-based collaborative model of a trauma informed team
>Development of a trauma -informed out-of-school network
>Trauma-informed capacity-building across judicial and first responder systems
>Regional trauma-informed capacity building
